Kimpacto is an international firm specialized in ESG, sustainable finance, and value chains. We support organizations and institutions with sustainability reporting, partnerships, and business transformation to help create long-term environmental, social, and economic value.
Founded in 2013, Kimpacto was incorporated as one of the first U.S. Benefit Corporations and later became one of the early Certified B Corporations, inspired by the growing global movement toward purpose-driven business and sustainable value creation. Today, Kimpacto operates independently from Europe and the U.S. while collaborating with international networks, mission-aligned organizations, and sustainability initiatives across sectors and regions. Kim Kastorff is an international ESG and sustainability professional supporting organizations with ESG reporting, sustainability strategy, sustainable finance, and value chain initiatives.
She has worked directly with the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG), contributing to ESRS-related initiatives and public consultations, and collaborates on sustainability initiatives with the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE). Her background also includes experience with global Big 4 firms PwC and KPMG, as well as engagement with sustainability frameworks and organizations including ISSB, SASB, GRI, and Certified B Corporations. |

Her experience includes ESG reporting, sustainability strategy, sustainable finance, climate and energy, agri-food systems, value chains, and international sustainability initiatives, including work related to human rights, gender, social impact, stakeholder engagement, and ESG interoperability across global frameworks. She brings a combination of private sector, nonprofit, academic, and international institutional perspectives developed through work across Europe, Latin America, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and the United States.
Over the past decade, Kim has contributed to executive education, training, facilitation, and advisory initiatives related to ESG, sustainable finance and fintech, impact investing, sustainability leadership, and international business. Kim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin (USA), an MBA in Finance from Colorado (USA), and a Master’s in Research focused on Impact Investing from ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. |
